Program
Internships in the U.S. are designed for young people, who for 6, 12 or 18 months work in a company in the United States gaining experience and learning about business in the areas of Communication, Administration, Finance, Tourism, and Systems in many industries, including: Hospitality, Business and Culinary .

Requirements
Career Training Requirements:
- Language: Excellent level of English . Ability to speak, read and write English (TOEFL or SLEP 60 points over 500 ) .
- Age: Maximum 30 years old.
- Education: Ecuadorian University graduate . The internship must be directly related to the major of the participant.
- Experience: Have at least two years of training or experience in the area of the internship.
- Disposition: Work efficiently in an American company .
- Capacity: Problem solve and follow the rules.
- Qualities: Maturity, flexibility, courtesy, and adaptability .
Internship Requirements :
- Language: Excellent level of English . Ability to speak, read and write English ( TOEFL or SLEP 60 points over 500 ) .
- Age: Maximum 28 years of age.
- Education: Ecuadorian University student or graduate but be no more than one year from the date of travel. The internship must be directly related to the major of the participant.
- Experience: Have training or experience in the area of the internship.
- Disposition : Work efficiently in an American company .
- Capacity: Problem solve and follow the rules.
- Qualities : Maturity, flexibility , courtesy , adaptability .
What is included?
The program includes:
- DS -2019 Document to apply for J1 visa .
- DS- 7002 Document to apply for J1 visa .
- SEVIS Document to apply for J1 visa .
- Database for the selection of a job.
- Telephone interview with the potential employer .
- Guide to perform functions or training plan.
- One representative, who will be available to assist the participant in the event that it is required.
- Professional training prior to the trip and upon arrival in the United States, to ensure proper operation of your program.
- Identification, student handbook, certificate.
- Information and Documentation for the American social insurance before starting the work.
- Health Insurance.
- Assistance in booking hotels and transfers, if necessary .
- The salary will be determined by the employer and will be specified when the participant is selecting the work.
- Communication with natural parents and complete supervision of the participant by the professional Xplorer team in Ecuador .
The program does not include :
- Air tickets . Xplorer assist in buying cheap flight tickets
- Personal expenses , clothing, international calls , etc.
- Vaccines ( have all indicated vaccines )
- Housing / Power. The employer will give some assistance to the participant for the temporary or permanent housing. This is coordinated prior to the trip . The participant must know where he will live and how to get there before departure . You should consider the possibility of temporarily living with host families , in hotels, apartments , youth hostels. The participant can move in the U.S.
- It is suggested that the student carry USD $ 800 to USD $ 1,000 USD .
- Costs of passport, visa and departure taxes .
- Cost of the second telephone interview by a potential employer if the participant has rejected the first proposal of work.
Visa to America : The American Embassy Consul reserves the right to award or not to award the visa to the United States .
Registration
We receive Registration throughout the year. The process from registration to the trip can take 3-5 months, depending on the selection of the company by the student.
